Ash and dust storm on 20 December 2010
Still sunny and dry in the southern part of Iceland, with strong winds, which leads to much ash and dust blowing around near Eyjafjallajokull and on the sandur areas south of Vatnajokull.

Very windy and lots of dust blowing around.
From the raw data, the mean was 234 micro-g/m3, and the highest value was 1369 micro-g/m3, which is close to the highest value measured this year.
